The leopard skirt is another one of my favorite spring trends. Last month I wrote a post about pearl accessories, so I though this could be the beginning of a series, and I can share a trend that I love every month. Do you guys like this idea? I am currently working with a few of my favorite brands and gathering pieces to film a YouTube video with my favorite Summer 2019 trends, so stay tuned for that!
Spring Trends 2019: How I styled my leopard skirt
Back to the leopard skirt, I first spotted this trend on Pinterest. I didn’t think I could pull it off and moved on to the next pin. More similar outfit pins started popping up on my home page and I couldn’t get it off my mind! If you follow me on Pinterest, you might have noticed that I pinned SO many leopard skirt looks. I didn’t actually get one, until I tried on this cute tee from Showpo. I was originally planning on styling it with black pants, but the minute I put it on, I though about how cute it would look with a leopard skirt.
I started browsing for one online and I found this one on Amazon for $13, can you believe it? I always look on Amazon, when I need things urgently, because the shipping is so convenient. I was honestly surprised that the material and quality was so good and it fit me perfectly. I styled it with my black shoulder mini bag and my ugly sneakers.
Spring Trends 2019: Other ways to style leopard skirts
Although I am talking about spring trends, I think this skirt can be worn all year round. It will look super cute with slides and a cami in the hot summers days or with a sweater and combat boots in the fall. It is super comfortable and you can easily dress it up with a blazer and heels. I actually also had an idea to wear it to the beach with my black off the shoulder bikini and my gold coin belt. I will keep you updated on how it goes!
On a different subject, I am finally starting to feel myself after being sick with the flu the whole week. I don’t remember being so sick in years. I had no energy, not even to look through my Instagram feed! LOL My biggest regret is that I didn’t have any margaritas or guac this Cinco de Mayo, but I will be definitely catching up on that this week. What did you guys do for Cinco de Mayo? Wishing you all a successful week! And stay away from the flu!
